Photojournalist/Fiction Writer
An independent photojournalist and fiction writer, I'm a longtime Los Angeleno, world traveler, and Dodgers fan. I enjoy writing stories, both factual and fictional.
I have a master's degree in journalism from UCLA and a master's degree in professional writing (fiction) from USC.
Throughout my career, I've published articles in many major publications including German Life, Los Angeles Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, India Currents, KoreAm Journal, Wines & Vines, Wine Business Monthly, Oil & Gas Journal, The Nation's Health, Convenience Store News, Small Biz Times, Today's Dietitian, Small Farm Today, General Aviation News, Filipinas, and The King's Tribune.
Based in Los Angeles, I've traveled to several countries on writing and photography assignments. My work has earned numerous awards for writing and photography. I've also created and edited newsletters for various organizations.
Beyond journalism, I write fiction that explores the complexities of human relationships and the human experience. My debut short story collection, "Silver Town LA: Senior Short Stories," focuses on Los Angeles seniors navigating love and connection.
